[January the 20th] |
I cannot say I'm amused with returning to Hogwarts, I must preferred the comforts of not sharing a room. Though I adore my dorm mates, one does not get the same privacy one would get at home.
As the last term before Seventh Year, I must confess to wishing time could stop. I, personally, will miss many of those in Slytherin's graduating class. Hogwarts will be not be the same without them.
On the brighter side, though not amongst my favorite of activities, reinstating Quidditch will help those who have slacked over Winter Holiday, gorging themselves with sugary delights, get back into shape. Some individuals should never stop from being physically active with no self control on what they place in their mouths. I do hope none that belong to Slytherin have fallen out of shape, I'd particularly enjoy watching Slytherin take House Cup this year.

It is just a cat. Purchase a new one, this is not deserving of radical responses. Besides, the blasted things are terrible for the life of one's furniture. It is a blessing the monster has been taken care of.

Oh, it’s a shame Hogwarts is filled with many of ill breeding. I’m shocked to find an entry of a female wearing a suit and publicly admitting her wanton ways. Asking a female to be her date? I nearly fainted to read such unacceptable actions.
Then there are those who make themselves appear desperate and use pleas of any means possible to obtain a date, essentially degrading them. How intolerable the absence of fresh air has made the actions of Hogwarts students.
It’s disappointing, that the revelation of Headmaster Dumbledore has come at a time where the weather is so frightful. I do admit that while the cold detours my any want to step foot away from the fire in the Slytherin common room, the scenery outside is rather beautiful with a dusting of white. I would almost be tempted to marry at this time a year, but a while dress will not stand out properly from the background.
The Holidays will provide a wonderful break from the castle, as well as the nouveau magique. Thank goodness for my mother having exceptional taste and a proper guest list for the annual gathering hosted by the Black family this time of year. Aside from the lack of having journals, I do not intend to hear a single desperate whispering of finding a date. There is simply never need for that type of worry.
I, for one, am excited for the festive cheer. Why ever would gifts and time spent with family cause such gloomy response? In fact, I look forward to visiting future family members as well this year.

[October the 28th] |
I now have a lack of wanting to go outside. Another attack upon the prisoners seems inevitable as the guards lack the competence to keep livestock safe. I realize that I should be cordial to the guests; however, I cannot have faith in them when all livestock at Hogwarts have been massacred.
Also, I am puzzled with how Hogwarts remains open, endangering the lives of the older students. Are our lives not as valuable as the younger? Though, I realize many are capable of protecting themselves, even if merely in a mediocre attempt, but poison does not give a means to defend, merely fall victim to. Do not make obvious that an attack has been made outside of Hogwarts, the majority of attention has been upon Hogwarts and its students. Whoever would like to fued this fact needs to have their eyes open wider.
No one seems to be safe, the precious Headmaster, as well as the Aurors who infringe on our daily lives, cannot keep us out of harm's way.
